6 month/halloween pictures

Last week I took Madison to get her 6 month and halloween pictures taken at JC Penny. I couldn't get her to smile because she was pretty upset. I had to pop a pacifier in her mouth and take it out right before the lady took each picture. Hopefully I get some smiles the next time I take her there. I think some of the pictures still came out pretty cute!


She refused to sit up on her own, so they made her a special chair.

Madison is going to be a flower for halloween! We've already been to 2 kiddie halloween parties!

6 Months

Yesterday Madison turned 6 months old! She weighs 15lbs, 13 oz and is 26 in long. We introduced food this past week but she's not really a fan yet. She is sitting up and loves to stand, with some help of course :).

Laguna Beach

Today we took Madison to Laguna Beach. We had breakfast at Greeters, walked around, and visited some shops. I always worry about Madison getting off schedule when we plan a trip, but when we actually go out and do things, I realize how nice it is to get out! Her schedule wasn't really that much off anyways :). On a side note, the past few days Madison been really fussy, so I think she may have some more teeth coming in :/.

5 Months Old

Today Madison turned 5 months old! At her 4 month doctor's appointment she weighed 14 lbs, 8 oz and was 25 inches long. Time seems to be moving so fast these days. This month has been pretty eventful! Madison has two bottom teeth already! I can't believe it happened so early! She's been handling it pretty well. She is sleeping from 7pm until 6am! That's 11 hours! It has been so nice to get some sleep myself! She's been such a happy baby these days. I am constantly hearing her laughing or squealing! She's even laughing and squealing while she's trying to fall asleep in her crib! She just cracks me up! I just can't get enough of her!

Cooing

Madison just recently started "talking" herself to sleep in her crib. It is the cutest thing ever! She use to cry or fuss, but now she'll just keep "talking" until she's asleep. Here is a video. There is no light so the picture is bad, but you can listen to her coos.

Out to dinner with the baby!

Saturday Tim and I decided to take Madison to the Market Broiler and see how she does at a restaurant. She was a little weary of her surroundings, but she did great! We got to finish our meals and had no crying what-so-ever! She is getting to be such a big girl!

4 Months

Today my sweet baby turned four months old! She is just so much fun now! Lots of smiling and laughing and she even rolled over for the first time a few days ago. It's been a little easier taking her places; however she's developed a little fear of being held by strangers. Hopefully this phase will pass soon. We do Stoller Strides every morning and she is great at sitting in her stroller and watching her mom be silly. She wasn't always this cooperative, so I'm really enjoying this new age!
